Dany Cohn-Bendit criticises the hypocrisy of Parliament's biggest political groups, which could not justify their support for Barroso's new Commission with a resolution. Socialists and Liberals in particular have heavily criticised Barroso's new Commission without seriously planning to vote against it. In response to Barroso's promise of a Commission that will be more than the sum of its parts, Cohn-Bendit points out that a tally of zeros cannot make a positive.
