The project 'Islam in Europe' is an initiative of Dutch Green MEPs (GroenLinks) aimed at giving a new impulse to the discussion about 'multiculturalism'. Group Co-President Daniel Cohn-Bendit and Islamic philosopher Tariq Ramadam debated the role of Islam in Europe in the Parliament on 29 March.
