Green MEP Rebecca Harms has criticised the Second Strategic Energy Review, warning that an EU strategy based on nuclear energy and fossil fuels will lead to a dead-end. Greens will continue to press for a strategy to reduce the EU's dependence on oil and support more efficient use of gas.
