Jean Lambert welcomes the Blue Card as an initiative, but regrets that in its current form it lacks ambition and places too many hurdles in front of highly skilled people interested in working in the EU. Greens argue that migrants who are granted the right to work in the EU should have the same rights as local workers as far as possible.
