Parliament prescribes placebo for ailing agriculture policy
In Strasbourg, the European parliament missed an opportunity to call for a more future-oriented agriculture policy. Greens had argued for better consideration of energy issues, for social and environmental conditions on direct payments and for more support for rural development and small-scale farmers.
