Managing Demographic Change in Europe
A conference on Green approaches
The impact of demographic change in Europe differs markedly and requires specific adaptation strategies that are oriented towards the quality of life of the people. It is not possible to achieve this aim with the currently predominant strategies. We as Greens do not want to evoke the catastrophe. We rather consider the demographic change as a chance for new and innovative possibilities to shape social life and manage social cohesion.
