Basic or Citizen's Income is related to two main ideas: the possibility of a new, creative way of guaranteeing a decent income for all individuals and the chance of tackling issues such as poverty, unemployment and social exclusion. Basic income creates the vision of a new kind of human self-conception and a new understanding of freedom for everyone.
